About Me

Shinelle Azoroh is an actress, writer, director and producer. She attained her Masters of Fine Arts in acting from Tony Award winning, American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CA. 


Shortly after graduating, she made her television debut in the movie BETTY & CORETTA, where she starred as Malcolm X's second eldest daughter QB opposite Angela Bassett and Mary J. Blige.  Her breadth of work continues to deepen both on the small and large screens. Her range of captivating performances can be seen in CODE BLACK and NIGHT SHIFT and the Oscar nominated short DEKALB ELEMENTARY and the features NOSTALGIA with Jon Hamm and Blumhouse’s highly anticipated film RELIVE opposite David Oyelowo.


Continually honing her craft, Shinelle is steadfast in returning to the stage. She has received acclaim for her performances including most recently South Coast Repertory’s revival of August Wilson’s GEM OF THE OCEAN where the LA Times declared  “The young and lovely Shinelle Azoroh functions with servile obedience… until finally reaching her breaking point and unleashing unexpected fury.”


At the top of the year, Shinelle premiered one of her own works, YouTube Comedy series ROXIE WOLFGANG, produced through her company Renovation Productions, Inc.
